I visited this restaurant for the first time many years ago and did not enjoy it. However, I decided to give it another chance and returned on a Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. View all feedback.
What canadasafety dislikes about Stonefire:
I'm really tall so the chairs don't fit. Asked for a booth but was told they were for larger parties. We asked for reservation at 6:30 and was told very busy so 6:15pm. Got there and it was deserted. Nobody, except 2 booths with two people? Then another 2 booths given to 2 person parties? Ordered Bruschetta and 25 minutes later it arrived. A lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. We ordered agnolotti with rose sauce, side plate of grilled vegetables and chicken parmesan with no cheese, which was done as requested. The chicken came with pasta and white sauce which my BF didn't eat so we got a nice takeout container and bag. I was able to create my own mock- tail and it was made just right! Everything was really good. The staff even took pictures of us as we were Celebrating our 6th anniversary. Thanks again, to Zara, our waitress, and the crew.We will be back!!
You should definitely try the grilled calamari salad at this family-style Italian restaurant.
The food was great, we had filet mignon and rack of lamb. For the price I would have expected better quality veggies, better steamed. The service was good enough. Even though when you enter you don't feel welcomed as much. It would worse ot to visit stonefire once in a while...
I had a wonderful experience dining with my friends at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the special lamb chops which were delightful. Looking forward to returning again soon!
Very good food. Nice looking place. Very friendly and accommodating service. Had the Italiano Pizza. Was delicious! Very large and I took some home!
