I have had lunch and dinner at Anise on a few occasions and enjoyed the experiences tremendously. The place is clean and the service is great but best of all the dishes I have tried were delicious. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. View all feedback.
What Cordia Friesen doesn't like about Anise:
My dish, Com Ga Nuong, arrived promptly and tasted delicious. However, there was a delay in receiving the Pho Tai that we ordered. Despite the delay, my wife enjoyed her dish. Our daughter's Pad Thai, which was supposed to have a Thai influence, was disappointingly prepared and she was not impressed. A strange experience, all the way around. We were looking for something different not far from our hotel, so we decided on Vietnamese. We walked in, and were told "sit over there." And sit we did. A waiter brought us tea after 10 minutes, but no menus. I got those myself. Then we decided we must fill out the check ourselves as it was sitting on the table. We filled in the numbered dishes and when I handed it in, finally we got a little service. My dish, Com Ga Nuong was first and more delay. But it tasted good, while we waited for the Pho Tai etc.; my wife said it was good. My daughters dish was disappointing, Pad Thai (some Thai here, allegedly;) not well prepared and she knows her Pad Thai. We are tourists, so we won't worry about coming back. Your choice, maybe we got them on a bad night.
This restaurant is hidden from the main road, I'm glad to give it a try, noodle is delicious and services was great, price is reasonable, will come back.

I have had lunch and dinner at Anise multiple times and always had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is clean, the service is excellent, and most importantly, the food is delicious. I will definitely return when I am in the area.
