Definitely not a hospitable place and a 4-star experience.We had to extend our stay in the area for a couple of days and having experienced a great stay in another 4-star hotel in the area, we decided to go for Pacher and a double comfort room.1. It was not at all a 4-star hotel, more close to a 2-star or a bad 3-star in my opinion2. Room insulation was so bad as room was noisy I could here the guy in the next room snoring and speaking on the phone3. Room was cold even when heating was operating to maximum. We were told to change room but we didn't want to pack baby's and our stuff back in the evening and move to another room.4. The Bar was not open all day for snacks which is not what you would expect in a 4-star hotel5. No room service, although some of the staff were really nice and did it for us6. The last night at 8pm I wanted to pay as we were leaving early next morning and I asked one of the gentlemen who told me that the reception was closed. I said we are leaving early tomorrow and would like to pay now. Then he called someone on the phone to come and get the payment (3 minutes worth of task) and after he called him, he was speaking in german to himself like he was angry or he was doing me a favour. This was not polite at all especially since you have a non german speaking guest.6. Location not great as Bressanone city was 40mins walk and there was not much to do around.Really disappointed and not worth the money.

This past winter, I returned with my parents to experience the Huber family's hospitality again. Even with our lofty expectations, we weren't disappointed. The food, service, rooms, facilities, and surrounding sights and activities all helped deliver a wonderful Christmas vacation. Thank you for the wonderful time, Huber family and Pacher team!
