Their signature brown sugar pearl milk tea is quite good. I prefer it half sweet and I love that the pearls are cooked to an al dente consistency. A good amount of pearls in the small size, which is great because at most places you get way too much drink and never enough pearl. View all feedback.
What Ryan Kinsey doesn't like about Xing Fu Tang Xìng Fú Táng:
My friend and I are heavily disappointed. We ordered a brown sugar milk tea and a strawberry boba milk, and we got finessed. 7$ for a tiny flavourless cup of coloured milk. The pearls were the only flavour, while the liquid was so bland. Customer service was alright, but they didn’t give my friend pearls that he ordered. View all feedback.
After trying so many places, we still find XFT 's pearls are the chewiest.<br/ <br/ I ordered their flagship drink (Brown Sugar Pearl Milk 焰遇幸福黑糖珍珠鮮奶 again. They stir-fried their pearls with brown sugar over a giant wok at the front of the store, so you could see how they cook their pearls in-house. The wonderful toasty brown sugar smell is covered in the entire store. I really enjoy the drink with a layer of foam milk topped with brown sugar melted by hand-held torch.<br/ <br/ Hubby likes the combination of having grass jelly and pearls, so he ordered his favourite drink again. It was Brown Sugar Pearl and Herbal Jelly Milk Tea 黑糖珍珠仙草鮮奶. It was perfect in texture and sweetness without tasting artificial. We find they keep a good consistency and flavour even though the sugar and ice levels of their drinks are unmodifiable.<br/ <br/ Xing Fu Tang 幸福堂 (XFT has stores in multiple locations in Metro Vancouver. We went to their location on Cambie this time. It is at 3432 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ Drink:
Xing Fu Tang 幸福堂 is the latest bubble tea franchise entering the Vancouver dessert market in late 2018. This franchise comes from the origin country of bubble tea, Taiwan. They specialize in brown sugar pearl milk, and claim to use the traditional method to cook the brown sugar pearl. We knew we have to go and check out this place:
Trying out Xing Fu Tang’s new brown sugar pearl dalgona coffee. Having boba pearls in your caffeinated beverage is one way to enjoy your morning or afternoon snack

We drove by Xing Fu Tang a few times during the last few months and noticed this place seems to have a long line up all the time. They serve specialised bubble tea drinks that use a unique type of brown sugar as part of their recipe. When we walked by Saturday afternoon recently, there was no line up so we thought it must be a good time to try it out. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the fragrant brown sugar cooking from the kitchen. You can also see a someone near the counter stirring the brown sugar and bubble pearls at the front.
