I really enjoyed the high tea for 2. It is a standing menu item and was fantastic! On a nice day I would sit outside (I did this). You will need to have 2 of the small tables. You each pick a sandwich which is then heated and cut and you get 2 of each dessert, croissants and scones with 3 toppings. You also pick your tea and then they bring it all out to you. Followed recommendations to try high tea there and was disappointed. The service was courteous, however, thesnacks for the high tea tray were completely taken from the cafe bakery menu with an added price premium. After the initial delivery of the tray and tea, it became self service for additional hot water. It might be a good cafe but we certainly did not get pampered by the high tea. View all feedback.
Not a huge selection, but it was all good. The portions were large. My husband had the Davies' breakfast with generous portion of bacon although the eggs were a bit overcooked. I had the Croque Monsier with tons of tasty bacon and a nice toasty, cheesy crust. There isn't much else like this in the neighborhood, so it was a real find.
Great fresh and tasty food. Good for vegetarians and meat eaters. They have a to-go window that is great for grabbing a salad and reasonably priced.
I will never order another starbuck's hard tack scone. Truffles' scones (and their other breakfast pastries) were exceptionally fine. Good coffee; oj out of a bottle. Good, helpful service. Get there at 7 am opening for fresh out of oven baked goods. We ate there several mornings in a row.
The little desert tarts are very good as are the truffles. Definitely try the sandwiches but the quiche wasn't so great. Drinks were wonderful. Looking forward to trying more items
While attending the Diamond Rally 2016 we were lucky enough to have the event catered by Truffles Fine Foods. I wasn't sure what I expected, as this almost appeared to be a food truck. What a damn surprise when the food was unbelievably good! They even brought a bunch of ice cream and various toppings.The pulled pork, was the best I've ever had! I'll be sure to put Truffles Fine Foods on my list for catering events in the future. Right at the top!
