Fantastic neighbourhood Cafe. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Whenever I'm in the area, I can't resist stopping by for a Chunky Monkey latte. While I'm there, I usually end up picking up one of their other cakes or cookies from the display as well. Although I find the seating a bit cramped and uncomfortable, I really enjoy grabbing a coffee and treating myself to a snack before heading over to Queen Elizabeth or Riley Park.

We ordered the salted caramel cake for a birthday celebration, and it did not disappoint! It was light and smooth, with incredibly delicious cream. It wasn’t dense or heavy, making it easy to enjoy more than one slice—which we definitely did! Overall, Metiq deserves its reputation for amazing cakes!"

This is one of my favorite places for tea and snacks in the city. The atmosphere is bright and pleasantly uncrowded. The tea is served hot in a pot with a cup alongside it. The desserts are delicious, and the healthy options are delightful as well. Plus, the café is licensed.
