All of the sushi and sashimi we had was fresh. The rice is good and The eggplant was delicious. Service is great and they are very attentive and friendly.The only drawback is that there is often a line and some waiting, particularly because the place is very small and very popular. What User doesn't like about Toshi Sushi:
You have to be up for the wait. And they are like a cattle car, no flexibility at all. We arrived at 4:45 (15 minutes before opening on a Wednesday evening) but one member of our dinner party wasn't there yet, and even though seats were available, they wouldn't seat us until she arrived. Really 3.5 stars. this was my favorite sushi place in van. Now it's good. the nitriri is a fraction of the size of what they were earlier. Previously I was so excited about these huge fishplates, now it's Puny pieces. Maybe it's a new management. fish is fresh, but no longer a place to go out of the way. I was also disappointed that it was still going out.
This place is amazing. look at this sashimi, my god. I'll be back every time I need sushi.
I love this place! I was here a few times and her sushi never disappointed. it is not her typical Korean-run-sushi-joint. everything on their menu is simple and if I mean simply, I mean, their rolls are nothing fantastic with the extra sauces above. they have the ground rolls and toshi is in the position to take this and it tastes good with the quality, and they can say that they have additional care and effort in making their rolls. that should look real sushi and taste. I always get the spicy combo (spicy scallop spicy tuna) and it's like crack. fish is always fresh here and I hope this place stays here for a long time. 5/5 stars! ps: the nebelei plant is an attempt!
One of only 2 sushi places I'm going to. they will not disappoint you.
Such kind and friendly people who work at Toshi. I have been in the past and the food is fresh and well made. Today I was sourcing places that were able to take a larger order and the person I spoke to on the phone was very attentive and flexible. They did their best to accommodate and followed up on our request. Such a wonderful experience.
