We used to come here all the time but haven't been in a few years. The food is still hearty and tasty but sadly it's not as lively as I remember! Good news for us though—no wait. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tio Pepe's Restaurante Mexican:
Pretty sure our burritos were microwaved. Wasn't a great taste, rice was meh, beans were good. Lathered in hot sauce helped, but not very impressed. Service was good and chips and salsa were also tasty. For $15 I would expect better burritos View all feedback.

I always eat Mexican food at the downtown restaurants but when I discovered Tio Pepes I was happily surprise! I never have been there I always ask for de delivery to my home, the food is really good and they have huge portions for excellent prices, you will never find that portions in the Mexican downtown restaurants. Definitely I will be a regular costumer :) ask for the taco salad is an excellent choice if you want to share and anyways you will finish full!
O Tio Pepe's Restaurante Mexican é um excelente restaurante de comida mexicana. Para quem gosta vale muito a pena a visita por se tratar de um local com bom atendimento e ótimo ambiente.
I've been to Tio Pepe's several times and it has always been consistently good. The owner is charming and a great host. Highly recommended!
Expensive (for what you get), tasteless (rice and beans taste like gyprock), the "chilli relleno" (stuffed pepper) was fried in old frying oil which tasted like fish. Cheap house wine. Atmosphere below 0. To avoid: save your money!
