Made a return visit to the Wolf and Hound after a gap of 9 months. This time the food was very good, and well cooked. Good portions as well, with exemplary service by friendly staff. It can be a busy pub and restaurant, especially as it is not far from the University. There is also the attraction of music later in the evening.An all-rounder. View all feedback.

We have been to this pub/eatery on a number of occasions when visiting Vancouver over the past 3 years. You could almost call it our temporary 'local'.Basically, it is a good sized establishment, and offers an excellent selection of beers wines and spirits, as well as a wide ranging menu with most of the favourites. I was meeting a friend. We ordered one Kilkenny and 1 cranberry juice. On the bill there was added a glass of Guinness we never ordered. The fried chicken dinner was composed of two of the tiniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen, wayyyyyy overdone. I should have sent them back but I was being polite. A bucket of yam fries was $12. A bowl of salmon and corn chowder $18. And to add insult to injury they added a service charge of $12.34 WITHOUT asking or giving me any option. It was just THERE on the bill. NEVER will I go back to this restaurant. Terrible overpriced food, charged for drinks we didn't order or receive and a service charge for which I was given NO option. NEVER AGAIN.
Incredible service, excellent and authentic food, well priced. Total neighbourhood gem. Can't believe I haven't been here before! See you guys soon.
Dry roast beef, cold service, decent music. Honestly the server Vitoria's attitude was brutal. Wouldn't recommend.
Waitstaff wear spighetti strap camisoles which are quite revealing, friendly enough. Short staffed. Food never good, but there aren’t many choices in thé area.
Lovely sticky toffee pudding! More vegetarian/vegan options would be great.
