They sure don't build them like this anymore the facility features a bar, restaurant and (rather loud) nightclub downstairs that is packed with the millennial crowd after the sun goes down. The whole building was styled after the Polynesian Tiki theme including unique architectural feature like bamboo, murals, neon paintings and a giant clam shell embedded into the nook downstairs. Drinks are a little pricey but that... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Waldorf Hotel:
Stayed here not too long ago. Checked in, room seemed fine. Then....we found a used toothbrush in the safe, and the bathroom wasn't overly clean. Went to sleep, only to wake up and notice that there were blood stains on the sheets at the foot of the bed. My friend checked her sheets and there was blood as well! Will definitely not stay here again, but will continue to have multiple cocktails in the tiki bar! View all feedback.
You get what you pay for, sure it's old, kinda shoddy, near the worst part of town but the front desk is very helpful, there is a market and Starbucks across
We stayed here for a couple of days before getting on a cruise to AlaskaThis place was nothing special really.
1The bar/club next door IS SO LOUDMy floor was literally shaking from the bass.
I live in East Van and have done do for 20 years. I like to drink 4 shot espressos that cost anywhere from 2.50 to 5.00 depending on how much cafés think they can get. Waldorf Cafe and Pizzeria wanted 11.50. For a cup of coffee. Good luck with that guys.
Fabulous food! Great Service! Great Venue! We had our 65th Birthday Bash here for a bunch of East Enders - former Graduates of Templeton High School. The service was impecable, with friendly efficient staff and a wide variety of beautifully prepared food.
