What Jen Norton likes about The Templeton:
Simple, clean food, great vegetarian and vegan options. A small place but it fits the personality of the restaurant. Near the end of Granville Street before the bridge so it's easy to miss. The decor is also really cool! Something that I'm head over heels about is the presence of a diner booth jukebox in every booth. So rad. View all feedback. What Saveur Spot doesn't like about The Templeton:
Gotta love how their portobello burger comes with cheese... Anyways, they have a few vegan options and they are willing to make some substitutions. I tried the vegan lentil loaf but didn't really care for it. The fries were lackluster. Not sure why this place gets such high praise.. View all feedback.

read moreThe Templeton, a classic American-style diner located on Granville Street in Vancouver, offers a unique dining experience with its old-fashioned decor, including retro stools and jukeboxes. Despite long wait times for service, the food is solid and comforting, with vegan breakfast options available as well. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The cafe also offers great coffee and generous portion sizes. Overall, The Templeton is a must-visit spot for those looking to enjoy a nostalgic 1950s-inspired meal in a cool and cozy setting.
