What mariedesjardins likes about The Reef Restaurant:
Visited for the first time for dinner while in Vancouver. Large menu with many items that looked worth trying. Stayed quickly. Mahi came out in about 15-20 from order taken. Friendly service. Could've used one more sever since the 3 seemed to be pretty busy and dining room is a fair size. Meal was flavourful and a good price. Would've liked to try a few other items, but wouldn't have had much room. Another time. View all feedback. What Where to travel next doesn't like about The Reef Restaurant:
The decor and music made me think I was on vacation. There is a small patio and on a beautiful day with a beverage it was a nice evening. We tried the jerk for two salmon plus pork proteins we decided to go with. It was good and of a good portion size too. The service was good and the food came out fairly quick. View all feedback.

Have been to both the location on Main street and Commercial Drive, and I must say that Commercial drive is the one to go to. I completely stopped going

read moreThe Reef restaurant on Commercial Drive offers a fun and lively atmosphere with Caribbean themed decor and fantastic music. The food is good, with a variety of options and delicious hot sauce. The service is attentive, with standout servers like Brenda who make the experience even more enjoyable. The portions are generous and well-priced, with highlights such as the Jerk Platter and homemade yam fries. While some reviewers noted small portion sizes and loud music, overall the general consensus is that The Reef is a great spot for a unique and flavorful dining experience, perfect for both intimate meals and larger gatherings with friends.
