I have eaten here before and it was nice, however this time around I ordered for pick up and the staff was very nice from phone call till I picked up the order. The food was good, lobster sandwiches was a bit dry but still very good service.??Parking: Depending on the time of day, street parking is free.Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty straightforward View all feedback.
What Min Kuan doesn't like about The Captain's Boil:
We went around 5:45pm. Place was not busy. The staff was attentive, we're seated quickly. It was our 1st time there so we were nervous and having trouble following the menu. We got a staff explaining it us. He patiently did so. Our orders came quickly and piping hot. Price was reasonable. But the only unpleasant thing was 2 of us (out of 4) experienced slight food poisoning after that meal. We all ate the same meal a... View all feedback.
I love the Cajun spiced mussels! So big and juicey. You come to this place for the fun experience and yummy food. I love the seafood fried rice! The staff was amazing and I would definitely go back. This is not an experience for someone who doesn't like to get a bit messy!
We had appetizers as there were not many lunch items. What we had was tasty and well cooked, the chicken wings were very good. The one problem is the cost of the main entrees as they are very expensive. I can understand that they are priced right for seafood but the atmosphere is more down market. The condiments come in small plastic containers, much like a fast food place. If I am paying so much for my meal, I expect a more up market restaurant.
My experience there was amazing. When i entered, i got seated quickly. I am amazed by the customer service. The staff there were very kind and patient. I was there as a hangout with family and everyone enjoyed their food. My favourite dishes there has to be the fried rice and chicken wings. The portion sizes for the price were very reasonable and pretty good. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and will definitely go again.

We went here for the first time today and I felt so disappointed. I think it will also be my last time coming here because I was actually not satisfied with the food. First of all it was so salty. I don’t know what you did to my king crab legs sea food boil but the sauce was extremely salty to the point where I had to order a different food which was the clams and mussels just to compare if the sauce was really supposed to be like that. When I tasted the cajun sauce of the mussel and clam it was surprisingly fine (better than the cajun sauce of the king crab). I was wondering why this happened but I didn’t bother being a Karen because there were too many people and I felt ashamed to even ask seeing how busy it was today. Please look into your salt pouring/measuring because imagine going to sea and drinking the salty water, that is what the sauce tasted like. For having to pay $150 I must say it is not worth it. Great trial and error though. Try at your own risk.Parking: We had to park at the Safeway because the street parking was so expensive.Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t think it is wheelchair accessible.
