We really liked this place... beautiful views, great staff and great drinks. We came back for the second time. We test the lobster roll and the tuna salad. The lobster was really good and enough to eat. The salad was amazing!!! The drinks were really well prepared... we sat next to the bar. We tried 2 very different cocktails and were great. Our experience at the Dine out Vancouver festival meal was average. The service was good, but the meringue on the lemon dessert had a grainy pudding-like texture instead of the expected standard meringue. Upon comparing our plates to those in other reviews, it seemed like our DOV experience was quite different. View all feedback.

Super chill! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, food was especially worth the price with a view of the beach and drinks were 10/10! Margaritas and their Calamari were particularly incredible, I would definitely come back here and recommend checking it! (Also pictured)
Prompt and friendly service with a unique menu. The food was great and the hand made tortilla chips were delicious. Great view of the English bay from the restaurant and the terrace. Bonus surprise, there's a pool table!
Great Happy Hour selection! We had the sea red shrimps that were for dying, and their Calamari was exciting to eat with the Jalapeño, tomatoes and Arugula. There is also a pool table that is free to play. During our visit we had caused some confusion as we left our table to play pool. When we came back to our table, another guest who led us to think we had already paid. Instead, they had moved us to a table near the pool table and we mistakenly left without paying. When we retrieved after we realized a few hours later to inform them about the situation and what we could do to transfer the missed payment, our waitress Eva had informed us that she had already taken care of it, even though it was our fault. We'll be back to Hook to try out other things on their menu and leave a generous tip!
What a great place for good food great views and the staff was amazing from Christen (hope I spelled that right)our waiter who never let us want for anything and super suggestions and full of great information about the area to Dustin the manager who greeted us both days we were there and made sure everything was satisfactory if we lived in Vancouver but we live in Pittsburgh PA we would be regulars. Nice meeting you all keep it going
