Great food. Awesome price. But you have to order in the counter and pay before you had your food and services.Speaking of which you will have zero service all time and even pull a glass of cold water by yourself at counter? View all feedback.
Lovely service and decor. Food was good but maybe lacking a bit of oomf, I think the seasonings were a bit on the timid side.
A small Thai restaurant on Commercial Drive that has a reasonably priced lunch menu. When we first sat down, the server gave us a menu and told us we had to order at the counter. So we ordered and paid at the counter and got our own water. Service was bringing us the plate of food and cleaning up afterwards. Lunch special is 11:30am-3:30pm. I got the pad thai with salad for $11.50 and my partner got the curry with salad and rice for $11.95. Both were good in flavour, but wasn’t the most amazing Thai food we ever ate. Prices were reasonable for the portion so it’s definitely worth a visit during lunch. It got slightly busy during lunch period but there were enough tables for everyone. Overall, good experience. Booth and table seating available. Only street parking. Cheapest lunch special is $6.95 which is super affordable in this economy.

One of the highlights is their delicious pad gra pow, a flavorful pork on rice dish that is not commonly found elsewhere. The pad Thai was also excellent, a true standout dish. However, the stir-fry eggplant and veggie dish was just okay in comparison. Despite this, I would still recommend this place and will definitely return in the future.
Likes: I've been craving Pad Gra Prow and they did a good job hitting the spot. It's very tasty. The padthai we ordered is also delicious. The place, however, is not air conditioned so it can be hot. Thai food can be spicy and makes you hot, so it made me all sweaty after the meal. Will likely order takeout next time. They also ask you to pay upfront, which is fine. But they also ask you for tip, too. Without really knowing the level of service they'd provide, it's kinda weird.
Good tasting Thai food, you get a decent amount on your plate, and you are not paying the exorbitant prices of eating out these days! Have eaten here more than a few times and never been disappointed. Hope they keep the good food affordable.
