I really appreciate that the city permitted them to maintain their outdoor terrace, which significantly increased their capacity. We were seated right away! The food was outstanding, though their beer selection could use some improvement, and the service was just alright. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tacofino Ocho:
This was my first order from Tacofino Ocho. I ordered with Uber eats. The restaurant prepared my tacos very quickly. The packaging was excellent. The food presentation was good. Potions are reasonable with price. Price about just under $5 for a taco. I didn't find the wow factor with my order. The fish was a little dry, and the lamb was not seasoned enough. I was visiting some friends across the street and wanted to get the tuna ceviche for pick up but it wasn't allowed since it was raw. It didn't make a whole lot of sense since sashimi is also raw but available for pick up. What might be different about Tacofino's tuna ceviche?I ordered 2 fish tacos instead. The fish tacos came carelessly assembled, but they were definitely very tasty!Was a little disappointed with this experience overall since Tacofino is considered a Vancouver staple. Hoping they will take more care next time and reconsider the ceviche for take out
Really enjoyed my first experience at Tacofino Ocho. We went during the week when it's happy hour and tried most items off of the happy hour menu, as well as a couple other items from. The main menu. Very reasonable prices. The two of us left stuffed for under $60.Our server was great and recommended some of her favs and was super attentive to her tables.I will definitely go back.
Nice little surprise during my stay in Vancouver! Fish tacos were divine. Crispy batter and moist flavourful cod. Carnita taco was tasty.
June 7 7:30 pm. I had ordered a vegan burrito on-line for pick up at 7:30. The vegan burrito was the Krispy Chick 'un . What they prepared for me was the non-vegan Crispy Chicken . Granted people make mistakes, but some people (for religious, philosophical, allergies, etc. reasons are very serious about the food they order. Making a mistake on food that people specifically request (no pork, no meat, etc. I didn 't have time to have the order corrected, asked instead to just have my card reimbursed. Manager said he would. But I guess they forgot to do that as well, card has not been reimbursed.
