Szechuan Chili - Vancouver

We went in for a quick meal. we both ordered the three item dinner special. hot and sour veggie soup, one main - green beans and chicken and ding dry prep chicken and mushroom rice and chow mein. all very good. tasty. hot. spicy.

I visit every week or two, Lunch special: Won Ton soup, sweet and sour chicken on rice with a small salad. Perfect size.

Portions are huge, food is incredible, Ginger beef is awesome and was my go to until I discovered the House special Shredded beef. It like the ginger beef just spicer. So sad when I moved away. Now every time I am in Vancouver I have to go here and if I am going home to Kelowna I will take my wife take out. I drove 2 hours in traffic to go here for lunch and will continue to go there till either one of 2 things happen.1 they close( which would be very sad) or they open one in Kelowna ( hint hint)then I could just go there all the time. Never disappointed. I know it says when did you travel there but when I lived in Van and I called for take out they already know who I was and what i wanted. ( So good)

You are not going here for a special occasion. It is about good food, decent price and good service. If you feel too lazy to cook and don't want to spend a fortune, this is a good place. The food is good.

Tried their lunch special. Hot and sour soup one of the best we have had. Orange peel beef was dry and not too tender. Diced chicken and cashews was pressure cooked and tasteless. Good menu selection, prices reasonable. Worth a try.
