The Sylvia Hotel was our Vancouver destination and it did not disappoint. We had a lovely dinner one evening - delicious meal, excellent service, beautiful view and reasonable price. On our second to last day we sat on the patio for happy hour drinks and snacks. The Happy Hour snack left something to be desired but the main menu appetizers and Happy Hour drinks were very good. Nice spot, decent service, and this is where the pros end. If I am paying 25 dollars for a meal, I expect it to at least have some substance to it. The firework specials that we ordered were simply shocking in size, with the fish dish lacking any carbs. Honestly they need to increase sizes of portions, even if it is just fries.
