I come here for their Singapore laksa which is flavourful and loaded with chicken, shrimp, squid, fishcake slices, kamaboko, tofu puffs, bean sprouts and rice noodles. Other noodle dishes are also generously portioned and tasty, although several supposedly different noodle dishes have the same flavouring and taste. Staff are friendly and obliging. What User doesn't like about Spoon Kitchen:
The Spoon Kitchen offers Thai and Malaysian fare.and close on Tuesdays. Our dinner Jan started with calamari followed with curry black cod while I opted for the satay skewers and gulai seafood. The kitchen was somewhat slow in coming up with our entrees (possibly they had to head out to catch the fish). All in all our meal was enjoyable. View all feedback.
Tasty Thai food, choose an entree, or a few appetizers. Reasonable prices, and attentive staff. I had the curry chicken and it was delicious and authentic.
My husband and I absolutely love this place! We've been coming here regularly for the past few years and now that we've tried a good variety of the menu items, we tend to stick to our favourites anytime we order. The mango salad is refreshing and delicious; I highly recommend this! Of course, I can never go to a Malay restaurant and not order roti canai. Theirs is crispy on the exterior with a good chew - delicious! If you're in the mood for curry, you can't go wrong with the lamb or chicken curries. Both are simmered in coconut milk and excellent. If you like seafood you can't go wrong with the caramelized ginger fish fillet. They also make very good noodle dishes - the Ipoh char hor fun, char kuey teow and mee goreng are my favourites. They also make a mean laksa for those cold, wet Vancouver nights.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. The tables are close together and were filled so we saw and smelled the dishes as they came from the kitchen. Everything looked and smelled great. The mango salad and the steamed mussels were amazing! The pineapple fried rice is served in a hollowed out pineapple and the Thai shrimp cakes were filling. Definitely going back for the mussels.
