Spicy 6 - Vancouver

The service at Spicy Six was excellent, as always. However, the one thing that disappointed me was the bharta. It's a dish I usually enjoy, but this time it tasted different. It seems like they may have changed the chef or the recipe because the aubergines didn't look smoked and mashed like they usually do. Instead, there were small pieces of aubergines that didn't blend well with the sauce.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Don't let the unassuming entrance turn you away. The food is delicious, with generous portions and excellent service.

One dish was okay but the mattar paneer was not cooked and when I mentioned it to the manager her reply was “oh all the restaurants have same type” like she thinks it’s my first time eating out or something? I really think we made a mistake by going in that restaurant. Never going back.

Their AYCE lunch is fantastic!! Make sure to leave some room in your tummy for dessert ;
