Five girlfriends for High Tea had a great time. This cozy place with or tables has a lovely ambience, with beautiful China and lots of lace. No complaints about the service, which was attentive and accurate. The food was excellent, my favourites being...the scone and lemon tart. My choice of tea was Anastasia, which was a full-flavoured Earl Grey with strong bergamot notes, exactly what I wanted. In my mind, High Tea is only ever had at the Fairmont, but I really enjoyed this High Tea and will recommend to others. I was surprised at the cross-section of people who came in while we were there to eat lunch and grab a sandwich. If I worked in the area, I would definitely check it out for weekday lunch as well. A few nitpicky things could be better thought out: The forks are the tiniest forks I have ever seen. They made eating a bit awkward, as my fingers became as coordinated as giant sausages handling a needle and thread. I would suggest slightly larger forks. The deli case for lunch items detracts a bit from the ambience of High Tea, as does the traffic into the restaurant to purchase said items. Although it is explained on the website, it is difficult to know how to pronounce soffee This makes it awkward when trying to talk about where you are going. Despite the things listed above, we had a great time and enjoyed our experience.

A dear friend recommended Soffee Cafe and I am so enthused about this wonderful cafe, I simply must share my impressions. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere, matched by an elegant and traditional decor that made me...feel like I was stepping back into an elegant era bygone. I LOVED IT, lace and all. I cannot rave enough about Soffee Cafe. Andy was so delightful and pleasant. He has a winning personality and knows how to run a first class place with outstanding food. It is one of the rare places where one can find the coveted Russian/Parisien Kusmi Tea. That, in itself, is a treat. The attention to detail is impressive and I must say that the buttermilk scones are divine. I loved the green ginger smoothie and the light spinach/cheese crepe was perfect. There are lots of interesting choices on the menu and even a vegetarian option for High Tea, which definitely suits my needs. It is nice that they have a Demi High Tea as well, if one does not want as many courses'. What is also lovely is that the small cafe is quiet, intimate and ideal if you want to visit with friends and enjoy the beautiful ambience. There is a beautiful bathroom as well and lovely art throughout. Soffee Cafe is a winner and I cannot wait to return,
