First time trying poutine - went for veggie deluxe, tasty, actual fries weren't much to write home about but the overall experience was very satisfying after just getting off a transatlantic flight for a first ever meal in Canada View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Smoke's Poutinerie Vancouver:
Xmas shopping on Granville I came across this place. I ordered the pulled pork poutine. I go to the toilet and it was stinking and filthy. There even was a good amount of pot on top of the hand dryer from someone who had rolled...a joint. I guess some would have seen this as a good thing. I get my poutine and I could have counted on my fingers the number of cheese curds! I wished I took a photo but I was just too hun... View all feedback.
The best specialty I tried. The size of the portions, the quality of the ingredients and the choice are all superior to Mean Poutine on the street. Images below are the triple-drawn pig and Korean poutine. Who would have thought a sharp poutin would be so delicious?
Every visit to Vancouver is not completed without checking this place. The staff is always friendly and the food is fantastic. I love the different types of poutins they offer. Especially the pulled swine fever. Traditional style is also quite decent here. The atmosphere is very beautiful and is always moderately clean. I will allow you to visit this place whenever Downtown
We tried several flavors, as it tried our first time Poutine. I have the buffalo flowers that were a pleasure. I suppose the chicken version would be just as good. We also got the traditional vegetarian poutins that were good, but not as good as the buffalo, probably because I had already eaten a more tasty option. My husband got the Cheeseburger version and he said it was delicious and he ended it so it must have been good. There was a guy who led the show and he got 3 orders super fast and all our orders really tasted fresh. There are a number of options here, so it is great for groups of people who have different diets. Overall recommend, 2. best thing I eat in Vancouver BC.
Friendly owner. Several choices of Poutine. My first time having Poutine but I didn't like it because the fries get soggy from the gravy. But that's just me. Looked awesome though.
I really appreciated the atmosphere here. Lots of interesting reads on the wall. The poutine was was average. I ordered a medium size portion almost 8 dollars. Very cheap on the cheese curds. I only had, and I counted, 09 cheese curds. Gravy had nice flavor. Nice portion of potatoes. If it was not for the portion of the cheese the poutine would of been a fine. The restaurant was clean and well lite. Finally the answer to the big question, would I return. No, I came for a poutine made correct not a order with 09 little cheese curds.
