We go here every few months with our son. He used to live near it, and now that he doesn't, we still like to go. The burgers and sandwiches are good. Their fries are REALLY good. I don't know what they do differently. But they are awesome. Free refills on coffee and soft drinks. Today our server was really great. Happy to go back again in a few months! View all feedback.

The patio is nice on a sunny day. The food was just ok. Service was ok as the place was busy. I had the tequila lime chicken salad. Just ok. Really small portion of chicken. View all feedback.

Good food, good service, family friendly, casual and very reasonable prices. At the Slocan, you're likely to find something for everyone. The staff are some of the friendliest you'll find at any restaurant, and between their pleasant service and the tasty fare, it would be hard to have a bad experience here. Most everything on the menu is good, and the restaurant has a bar and a patio space for those rare sunny summer days in town.
We were immediately greeted as we entered the restaurant. Service was good. New waitstaff was being trained. We enjoyed the Santa Fe wrap and pork cutlets. Staff was friendly and attentive. The soup included with the pork cutlets was not brought out, but staff comped one of our drinks to compensate. We felt at home.
