Shaughnessy At Vandusen Botanical Garden

This restaurant has the potential to be so much more. we were a group of three friends who met for lunch. I enjoyed the ambiente and the quiet atmosphere beneficial to chat the pleasant background music was made in a volume that chatting easily. we wanted to come to another stand because our original cabin radiated heat from the seat and we were graciously accommodated. parking is free (what it is worth considering that this is vancouver) with easy restaurant access! where this restaurant was very short regarding the service. we had to ask for coffee and water refills and the waiter took two tellers away while our friends still eat and then came back and took her teller and she had to tell him that she had still eaten the sandwich! something I did not expect from this caliber of the restaurant, we were not with denny’s. our meals were only average. both friends enjoyed their, but I ordered the Quinoa salad, the very little presentation was terrible a few mixed greens on the teller with a bit quinoa scattered over. really disappointing given the price point. it is in a beautiful environment and has an old school vibe that I immensely enjoyed, but service needs definitiw attention.

My family wanted to take me out for a birthday brunch and thought shaughnessy restaurant would be a tasty bite for me. Unfortunately, I felt so bad about her uneasiness, as our service was bad, the waiter who took our order either hanged or clearly did not want to be there. we always demanded different needs sample: a suppen spoon for the suppe and our second tee ordered, but missed just to call a few what is good it happened, but the last stroh was when we wanted to pack remaining foods that contain hathbrowns (the tasty were) but if we got our packages back most of the foods that were not included on our tellers

Very slow service and sat two hours when my niece had homework, so we had to eat and go and eat was cold on our table so not happy in the night

Although eating and service very well and it is a nice place, we found the price point a little high for what we have.

Special thanks to the waitress helping us, so sorry to forget ask her name, she is sweet, beautiful, soft, attentive, patient make me very comfortable , absolutely will come back, I was at brunch time, thanks Josephine
