What User doesn't like about Sargam House Restaurant:
This Indian restaurant is located in 955 West Broadway – Vancouver BC, Canada. The parking area was very big but no cars were parked during the evening hours. Expecting to eat stomach full, we entered the hotel and found no customers inside. We were terribly shocked to see an Indian restaurant like this. Really excellent food. dosa was great. rasmalai and kulfi falooda was really good. we have not tried north indian food but hope it must be good.
If you are looking for a place that offers a meal with authentic Indian hospitality, this is not the place to visit. I write this after being mistreated on two occasions at Sargam. The waitress here came across as very unfriendly, dismissive and lazy. The owner is impulsive and disrespectful. Well, the food is not that great. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive place and if they dont care of being respected, this place is apt!I do not intend to contradict with others who have nice things to say about their experience in Sargam but at the same time I think this forum should be informed of an individual's regrettable experience there as well. Yes! the food. Well the food (I mean my meal during my previous visit) is not too bad but no one steps into any restaurant for the food alone, we go for the experience that comes with it. My experience at Sargam was insipid. I am an Indian, I understand hospitality and I think Sargam serves food on a plate (attitude) of arrogance
