The place is very authentic so if you don't know anything about korean food it is important to either go with someone who con actually order for you or learn in advance about what this place has to offer. Everything that we ordered was delicious, some dishes are very spicy so ask before you order. Love the private tables where you remove your shoes and the grill in the middle of the table. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Royal Seoul House:
It was a terrible experience eating this place. I had galbi which costs $38 per 2 pcs. Expensive but low quality meat they use with terrible job cutting the meat. Lettuce they sell for $3 was not fresh at all. Actually most of them were going bad already so I assume they try to cut them as much as they could to hide it was bad but all the edge was yellow and some part was dark green and crushed. I had to stop eating,... View all feedback.
Eating here is amazing. we read in the reviews that service was underpar, but our experience was pleasant and cannot complain about the service, it was pretty good. in any case it must try. will return again and again
In the sea of various KBBQ places in Vancouver, I was thankfully invited to Royal Seoul House for dinner with some friends! This place really commits to the experience with their decor and the dining option of floor and table seating. They also have a perfect sized menu that’s got something for everyone to enjoy from every category. I also really like how their BBQ Combos are set up! They are portioned for 2 people and I’d say are pretty fairly priced. We ordered BBQ Combo C (marinated beef ribs, sliced seasoned beef, beef belly and pork belly) with Lettuce Leafs on the side, LA Galbi (marinated beef ribs), Sweet Spicy Crispy Fried Chicken, and Prawn Tempura.Personally, I felt like their Banchan (vegetable sides) could have been better in terms of variety and quality, but I’ll enjoyed the Kimchi. All cuts of the meat in the combo were super fresh and filling. However, I will say that all the meats were just lightly seasoned. I would have preferred a much richer marinade and more salt. Although more tasty, same goes for the Galbi. But YO, I was shocked at the portion of Fried Chicken! It’s a HUGE plate. It’s super crispy and yummy too! And of course you really can’t go wrong with Prawn Tempura so that was obviously delicious.Overall, I’d totally recommend this place if you are new to KBBQ. Their excellent service and desire to help you out, alongside their wide but easy-to-navigate menu make for a pleasant dining experience and the perfect place to bring a group of friends or family.
Royal seoul house has been there forever. at the time the choice for Korean restaurants was quite limited. we came to lunch last month and ordered their new style bbq, which comes on a large izzling pan with small otopus and swarms in the middle and surrounded by mais, cheese and egg. we had this before and enjoy it. nothing like a good chewing gum! the inner is a little dated, but eating is still quite good.
Eating was great, but they seem just a little personal. the saying never came to check us out after eating.
I was already in many Korean restaurants, but these that they can get delicious food and good service for the fair prices. years ago it was very busy, but my recent experience was different. free deep garages are available.
