We were seat... read more My husband and I went to Romer's after a walk on the river way path. We were there just to have some drinks and appetizers during their Happy Hour. We were seated at a table on the patio right away, but waited for a server to come for a while. A server came to take the orders from the table behind us, who came way after we arrived... So, we decided to leave. This was not our first time to visit this Romer's, and their food is usually okay and the service is fine, but not this time.

We had reservations for a large party the reception area was less than welcoming when we arrived. We were there for over 3 hours and while we were in no hurry neither was our server in taking our beer or food order. When we asked for bill it took another 15 minutes even though we said we were in s hurry. Someone else asked to sit at bar but they said no because of brochures etc on the counter. Burger was reasonably good but pricey and my wife said her tacos were the worst she has ever had!! Not going back anytime soon!

The beer choice was dismal and the happy hour appys were smaller than advertised. Was going to have a burger and then found it didn't come with fries for the price and s we decide to go to the appys. Ordered the sliders, calamari and garlic fries. Turns out the slider burgers do come with fries. But the sharable calamari advertised as for 1-2 was smaller than most if not all calamari plates I have had and the 2-3 person fries were the same as came with the sliders and were barely for 2 if that. The taste of the food itself was ok but not good enough to make up for the rest. And like one other review said don't sit in the glass area on a sunny day.

Had the Brussels Sprouts (HEAVEN), Wings, Nachos, and Lettuce Wr... read more Our server “Pam from the Office”, was awesome! Provided a great atmosphere and recommendations. Had the Brussels Sprouts (HEAVEN), Wings, Nachos, and Lettuce Wraps to split between 5 people. Everything was delicious and filling. I had the “El Diablo” to drink and started a trend at the table. Super drink! Would go back again for sure.
