The recommendation from friends about the plant-based/vegan options led us to try this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. My partner ordered the wrong dish, while I opted for the classic Rekko sharp ramen with added mushrooms and tofu. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! What User doesn't like about Ramen Danbo West End:
I'd eaten enough ramen in Japan before and after going vegan while living there, but this was hands down the saltiest bowl I've ever had. I even told my server I wanted a less salty option when deciding on the type...it wasn't inedible, but unless I know it can be scaled back, I won't return. The gyoza, however, were phenomenal. The great thing about this place is that it offers vegan options while from a non-Western culture. I am so happy that other cultures from all over the world begin to recognize vegans. it is great that they begin to help us be able to be the food we once enjoyed without experiencing the debt. the overall experience was great, however, I personally would argue to put more attention on strictly vegan restaurants, as they help the problem more. this is however one of the only places where they can get authentic vegan Japanese rugs now, so its something to enjoy once in a dae. a tip when they plan to try the vegan hard boiled egg, simply not. it is very tasteless and somehow a waste of money, but I guess it was kind of cool to consider it.
The Ramen are tasty-a bit salty- and the gyoza are good. The vege menu is quite limited but good. Staff is friendly, I would return for Ramen there anytime.
A whole section of the menu is dedicated to their vegan ramen and customisable options. great ramen!

Good vegan windows and excellent vegan gyoza. I go here often.
