Best bakery in Vancouver imo! So much variety and everything I've tried while going there thrice (sweet and savoury scones, some cookies, blondies, brownies, cakes, etc) was delicious ? A must if you stop in Vancity View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Purebread W Broadway:
I had hoped for more vegan breakfast options, but all that was available was a chocolate loaf or a cookie. The food was tasty and made with high-quality ingredients. The coffee was a bit strong for my liking, but that could be personal preference. The prices were reasonable considering the popularity and ambiance of the restaurant. I enjoyed the music they played, it added to the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. View all feedback.
We were taken to this restaurant by our tour guide. The filled donuts were incredibly delicious!
The restaurant offers delicious cakes, tasty coffee, and chocolate. Although it is on the pricey side, it is worth it for special occasions. My wife and I came in to buy a cake for a friend's birthday, but I couldn't resist getting my favorite cake and a hot chocolate for myself. Although it cost more than I had planned, the flavors were excellent. I will have to wait a few months before indulging again.
We were visiting from Toronto and decided to try the Cinnamon cream buns at this restaurant. Overall, it is a nice place with beautiful pastries. My only slightly negative experience was when I pointed to indicate to the server what I wanted, and I was told not to point at the food. I understand this may be to prevent any contaminants from falling onto the pastries, or perhaps to show respect to the food. However, the tone in which I was told not to point made me feel like a child, even though I am in my late 40s. It's possible that the person assisting us was just having an off day.
I had hoped for more vegan breakfast choices, but only found a chocolate loaf and a cookie on the menu. The loaf was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients, but I found the coffee a bit sour. Prices were reasonable considering the upscale nature of the restaurant. I enjoyed the music, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere.
