While the food generally receives high marks for its flavor, there have been mixed reviews regarding the service at the restaurant. Some customers have experienced issues with their orders being incorrect or mishandled by staff. Despite these occasional hiccups, the quality of the food remains a standout feature of the restaurant. From hearty pho dishes to fresh shrimp rolls, there is a wide range of options to choose from. Overall, Pho Goodness is a great choice for those craving a tasty and filling meal in a casual setting.
I ended up at this place by accident. My husband was checking out their menu which was outside the restaurant and he noticed that the vegetarian pho was marked as VEGAN. Obviously we went in right away. The pho was probably one of the best vegetarian pho that I had in Vancouver. It's full of flavour and always tastes fresh. However they do use a little bit of MSG. Besides that they don't have many other vegan options fresh rolls are vegan and one of the veggie bowls can be made vegan. This place is always packed so sometimes it might be hard to get a table but the service is super quick so you won't be waiting long.
We went about 3/4 of a mile, past several other options to get to this place due to the reviews. Let me tell you. the aromen were amazing. there were only a few things on the menu, but we just couldn't stop eating as soon as they arrived. the staff was very friendly, and the prices were low for the amount of food they get. location is worth the walk in an entertaining against the city.
I fight against a cold and the pho chay was just what I needed. healthy and delicious. the service was fast and the staff was friendly. I went around 17 o'clock and there was hardly anyone, but it was busy at 18:30 o'clock. there is only one vegan option for pho, but it was really good!
I was there twice. the first time was great. friendly staff and delicious eating. the second time, not so great. I have the same product as the first time, but it wasn't as tasty. they also gave me fish sauce, although I ordered a vegan option. I know it's a careless mistake, and they fixed it, but this type of mistake can sometimes have consequences (I remember how sick I gave me after a second cup instead of soy milk! . overall it's still a place I would recommend if they want good vegan Vietnamese food.
There are only a few items that are labeled vegan on the menu. my friend and I have the hates and salat rolls. my friend ordered 2 portioned salate rolls and we didn't expect them to be so big. the erdnuss sauce with which they came was delicious. the hare share was huge. the broth had a nice taste and we were happy with the amount of sweet and tofu that came in. it was the day we went, but it didn't take long until we got our food.
