Papi's Seafood And Oyster - Vancouver

While visiting Vancouver from Winnipeg, my companions and I had a disappointing experience at a different oyster bar in terms of service, food quality, and prices. However, we were still craving an oyster bar experience and decided to try Papi's. We were not disappointed. Our server Brenda was fantastic, recommending cocktails that perfectly suited our preferences. The atmosphere, location, price, and friendliness of the staff were all on point. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed watching the sunset over English Bay, making for a perfect end to our day. We will definitely be returning to Papi's in the future.

The location is wonderful, although it would be better if cars were not nearby. I had a delicious kale salad with prawns. The staff was attentive and friendly. I will definitely return.

The service at this restaurant was excellent and quick. I visited specifically for the oysters and was given great recommendations for both the oysters and wine. Unfortunately, there was a lot of shells in my oysters which took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Typically, I would have requested a new plate, but I was on vacation so I didn't want to make a fuss. Opening and presenting oysters is an art, and it is important for the restaurant to ensure that this issue is resolved for future customers.

Poor experience, the waiter didn't check on me at all to see if I need anything , I was out of ketchup and water and I just ate without them at the end. Kinda rude for not checking on you during your visit Will not go back

Curious about this place. Got a great shade seat toward the end, service is a hit n a miss. Had Sunday fish n chips seeing the review and eating through images. Got it and saw that it REALLY is a Sunday Special. Smallest piece of fish I got; halibut was clean tasting, lemon wedge nice, tart sweet, the tartar is different in a good way and coleslaw is pleasant. But I don't think I'll order this again as Vancouver Fish Co. is much better value for product. But I will try the lobster roll as one must in the summer.
