We went to this restaurant for the Dine Out festival for the $70 2 person special. The peking duck was so good and the other dishes were fantastic as well. Only issue was that my partner ordered a craft beer. The first one had gone bad and had floating bits in it, the second beer of the same brand had expired in Feb 2019. I would recommend the restaurant get rid of old beers that are now expired! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Old Beijing Roast Duck:
the interior of the restaurant was really nice and the people working here were professionally dressed. the biggest problem was that most don't speak English. I came here to sample her dineout menu and most of the food came in appetizers, which was disappointing for the price. I would come back to try others on their main menu. View all feedback.

Amazing selection of dishes, much more unique than I could imagine. This place is a jewel!
I don’t usually leave reviews but here I go, my buddy was visiting from out of town and I’ve always walked by this place and thought it looked “luxurious” so we went in and asked the waitress is the $100 Peking duck a good meal for 2?” She said “ yeah it’s good for 2-10 people “ lmaooooo no way that was not even food for 1 person, terribly bland. Cucumber soup? Who even drink cucumber soup. Miso soup would have been way better. The duck was bland, the fried duck skin was bland. Did they not use any spices here? How does the owner have a picture with Justin Trudeau on the wall. There’s no way our PM would eat here lmao. She demanded we tip too, and leave tip on the table.Honestly I’m not good at looking at menus of food I usually don’t eat. The people near us all were eating kung pao chicken and it looked great. So if you find yourself here. Order that instead :
I watched these videos online stating it’s a good place to go, probably I have a high expectation so when I really tried by myself it’s not what I thought. Not really Beijing roast duck, maybe ok for Canadians, not for Chinese, not even good as some small Chinese restaurants in small city… do not trust videos online! For it’s roast duck quality and price I’d rather buy from T&T. Waitress is rude, I’m speechless to say details… good renovation for attracting local people.
Went to them for dinner two days ago and used a regular roast duck coupon to upgrade to a better roast duck, saving $90. We spent a total of $133 for the meal. Waitress told us could not give tip base on $133. Instead, we need to give tip base on $233 because the original duck price was $130 without the coupon.Their behavior is no different from robbery. Not to mention how much you spend is voluntary.
