The food here is excellent—homemade and bursting with flavor. Ofra is wonderful; she makes everyone feel so welcome that it’s like stepping into my mom’s kitchen. And if you're a vegetarian, you're in luck—Ofra exclusively serves vegetarian dishes!

Menu clearly labels vegan options. Owner knows what she is doing when it comes to making a yummy meal. The Vegan Sausage Shakshuka is wonderful, as are the vegan desert selections.
Delicious food, nicely spiced, good-sized portions. Ordered takeout and was surprised at how quick it came considering she was running the entire restaurant herself, from cooking and boxing food to making change and serving tables. No air conditioning in restaurant so was quite warm inside.
We arrived in Vancouver and were very hungry. Being vegan, we went to Happy Cow to see what was near our hotel, but didn't want veganized American style fast food, nor did we want anything super pricy and fancy. We decided on Ofra's Kitchen as we both love Middle Eastern food. We happily walked the mile or so distance to Denham St. and were even more hungry when we arrived. Upon stepping inside of the cozy restaurant, we were delightfully greeted by Ofra herself and quickly made to feel like family. The food was absolutely delicious, home cooked, and a well thought out menu. We left with full satisfied tummies and love in our hearts. Even if one isn't vegan or vegetarian, do yourself a favor and go to Ofra's!
