My husband and I double-dated with friends for Noa's Valentine's Day special menu and were very impressed. The food was carefully prepared, they service was impeccable, the atmosphere romantic, yet unintrusive and the price very worth the value in food and overall dining experience. We would definitely return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Noa Pan Asian Bistro:
The pho was lousy and the service was not friendly. And the place was filthy. How is this place still open? I checked the vancouver health inspection website and it has been cited for multiple critical infractions for unsanitary premises and food handling. Stay away! View all feedback.
Vietnamese food sometimes just hits the square. It was a ride through I'm hungry where we're eating moments. We had the fish cake, #5 beef, beef flank tendon plus beef flank and balls pho. The food came out pretty fast and piping hot. We were here for a late dinner so few cartridges next to us. Many pay street parking.
We often went to lunch and dinner here. Also ordered the takeout. The restaurant is casual, not unusual. Prices are very good for quality! The menu offers a good variety. I enjoyed the Spring Roll with Vermicelli bowl, partner usually has the Beef Flank Tripe Noodle Soup and Papa had the Lemongrass Pork with Vermicelli. Everyone had great taste. Meals are generous portions and very tasty. There are many pickups from take-out orders when we have eaten. It could run from a family, but not safe. All employees were very polite and friendly. The only card is that they are a Cash Only restaurant, but there is a bank nearby. Here too the menu is very cheap. It's normal to see families with 3 children there. Very recommended!
I personally love this place because the Pho always makes the trick on a cool day. I have to say that I don't think there are any better shrimp salad rolls in town. I'm always looking forward to returning here. The only drawback is that there is only room for cash.
I don’t get mad if a restaurant has few vegetarian options, or no vegan option, in general. Of course some places focus on something completely different. Yet, even in a steakhouse you will probably find a couple of veggie appetizers or sides. Vietnamese cuisine has lots of vegetables. Yet this place has exactly 1 (one) vegetarian option. Is it vegan? I didn’t dare to ask, but yes. Not awful, but not memorable. Rice was overboiled for me and vegetables were just ok. The place doesn’t look too clean, as others have noticed, and they only take cash (not good). Given that they sit between a bunch of other restaurant, they would have a point if they were very cheap, but alas, not, price is like any other place in the area. Vegetarians, stay away (hint: cross 18th and you’ll be much better served). All the others: probably the same holds for you.
Located in a bustling area on Cambie and 17th, this restaurant offers delicious food prepared by the hardworking owner who was kind enough to come out and chat with us. She takes pride in the fact that all the dishes are made from scratch. We enjoyed the iconic bun Bo hue and beef stew with pho noodles, as well as the authentic Vietnamese-style spring rolls. The prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Overall, a great dining experience.
