What Emily Pirie likes about New Town Bakery & Restaurant:
Didn’t get a chance to sit down but had take out baked goods. This place was recommended to us by a friend. She said, “if you’re in Van, New Town is THE place to go.”From egg tarts, pork turnovers, to “gai mei bao,” to red bean pastry... it was delish. The size of the goods were big as well! Will be back! We ordered the pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings, bok choy and steamed buns The shrimp dumplings were tasty.
I would advise against eating here.
