Went with a friend after helping him move, had the souvlaki, Kalamari and a beet dish.Great taste and presentation, they offer the best beer in Greece( Hellas Fix) and my Asian friend with the glass stomach stated it was the best Greek food he had ever had( I thought it was as good as my last trip to Greece) .Opa! What User doesn't like about Nammos Estiatorio:
The food was ok and served family style where you order several dishes and they come out as they are ready. We just picked several different items from the menu and shared them between the group. I have no serious complaints but found the food to be good but with nothing really standing out. View all feedback.
The roast lamb shoulder is easily the best in the city. Great service by the manager.
I have walked past Nammos Estiatorio numerous times while visiting Earnest Ice Cream next door, but it wasn't until now that I finally decided to give it a try. I must say, Nammos instantly transported me back to my vacation in Greece. The food, the ambiance, the outdoor patio, and even the summer breeze all reminded me of my time there. This genuine Greek restaurant is conveniently located next to Earnest Ice Cream on Fraser St, near King Edward Ave.
I love going to this local spot for calamari and a drink during happy hour. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is welcoming. Just a heads up, they now start serving brunch at 10:30 on weekends (I learned this the hard way by arriving too early).
Finally, an upscale Greek restaurant in Vancouver! So happy to have this new addition to our neighbourhood. Not the usual Greek menu, everything is a la carte, you put together your own meal of small plates. Everything is amazing, a notch above the usual Greek fare.
We went here last night for a birthday party. I've been here before, so I knew what to expect. They have a nice set up, very modern and simple; it works well with the restaurant lay out. <br/ <br/ We ordered Calamari, tzatziki, and Dolmades for appetizers. The calamari was fantastic, and they give you this beat based dip, which is different but delicious. The Dolmades have never been a favourite of mine, but my girlfriend is vegan so she ordered them. The tzatziki was delicious, warm bread, tasty dip, just smal portioned. <br/ <br/ For entree we both ordered the lamp, which was hearty and delicious. It falls off the bone, had great consistent taste and was a HUGE portion. It comes with Greek potatoes and dip.<br/ <br/ WOULD RECOMMEND. Easily one of the best Greek restaurants in Vancouver. They're relatively new, so I would recommend it. Good price and good vibes. Upside, there's an earnest ice cream next door!
