This restaurant was attached to the hotel we were staying in. We loved the outside area and spent most of our visits out here. The server lit the fire pit in the evenings and was always very helpful, in fact they all were. You got the feeling that they loved coming to work and were all good mates. Nice. The food and drinks were always served in a timely fashion. Good atmosphere happy visits. View all feedback.
What Ruth Turner doesn't like about Moxies London Downtown:
a poutin ordered, it is one of the easiest dishes to make, but fryed were stone cold first around, I sent the court back and fryed again cold, but the middle of the plate was warm and cheese was melted inside, probably microwaved, although I again assured that it was made fresh. our server was beautiful and the rest of the party enjoyed their eating. Cosy and great place to eat at any time of the day! Yeah, it's a very nice location. Service for us was very professional and friendly. Food was good, but drinks made it much better. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is just as good. Even though the evenings are much more lively. If you are looking for something fast and tasty for a day of work or shopping Moxie is not bad at all.
The Hubby and I went here after a hockey game because the Shark Club was full. Because of the crowd it was extremely fast busy, so I expected terrible service and a long waiting period. We were asked to take a place wherever we could find one and were welcomed within a few minutes. Our server was friendly and efficient, and while our drinks were made, we have to check a second server with us to make sure we were seen. The food was fast, delicious and you could say that the staff worked well and a team with every running food. Highly convert dry ribs and table-side guacamole! Slushy Wodka drink was also not bad:
Came here to find an absolute jewel of a terrace! On the second floor, moxies offers a fantastic terrace that beautifully decorated and well heated with gas fireplaces! It was empty during my visit that shocked me because the situation was beautiful. A great place for a few appies and an ice-cold beer! I'm back!
A quiet place with great staff and great cocktails seems to be the bartender knowledgeable and music below is very nice at the bar. But the bathroom is somehow strange as they make the lights extremely bright and fool the music Extremely Loud from homeless outside. They have their own pizza oven so that the pizzas taste very nice.
We went to Moxie's because we were given a gift card and decided to try it out. We had 2 drinks and their nachos. There food is what you would expect from an establishment like this. Similar to a cactus club or Joey's. The food was good, the drinks were great and strong, lastly the service was quick and professional. The location was right by BC place. The stairs going up smelled a little like urine. Otherwise a decent experience.
