This place is great! Staff is knowledgeable about Celiac disease and aware of what items can be made gluten free. I had the eggs Benedict and it was very good. A nice outside patio with heaters. Highly recommend it. View all feedback.

My beef brisket croque was poor: the brisket was cold, the egg cold and dull and the bread also too cool. My friend enjoyed her meal. The bread pudding was good. I was glad that it was my treat as I know my guest would have been very disappointed in the main I received if she was paying. View all feedback.
I think maybe we got some bad luck but we were quite disappointed in our visit. The atmosphere is great and staff was super nice. Service though was very very slow, and our coffees weren’t even hot.By far the most disappointing part was the food. It presents extremely well and looks amazing, but it was honestly quite bad. I am not very picky with food at all, and am easily satisfied, but it was so bland I couldn’t even finish it. I was with a big party and everyone said the same thing. Upsetting because it looks so good!!!

Nice vibe and great service. The presentation on my French omlette was well…. Non existent. I like minimalism but… not even a slice of orange? A parsley sprig? Dare I say… BOTH??Hubby had the burger on a gf bun and said the flavour was good but it was too small.Generous portion of fries and the three dips were appreciated.
I recently visited Maxine's Cafe Bar, and it was an incredible experience! The Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made the visit even more special. Our server, Nacha, was the best ever! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Maxine's for anyone looking for great food and a lovely ambiance during the holiday season!
