A very interesting pop with chicken and green onion taste. Was a short happy hour before dinner at 6. The reception responded quickly and the bar station was attentive to my solo appearance. The house white is exceptionally full-bodied and fruity. A pleasant drink before dinner. View all feedback.
What Vítor Ferreira doesn't like about MARKET by Jean-Georges:
Admittedly, I expected more. Having been at Jean-Georges' NYC flagship restaurant, this wasn't nearly the culinary experience. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, our bartender, Tim, was awesome, but the table service and all around perfection of the experience didn't mirror NYC in the least. We had dinner here and the food was absolutely amazing. All the flavors complemented each other and all the ingredients were really fresh. Great wine selection, friendly staff and really nice view too. One of the best dinners we've had in Vancouver. Would recommend the tuna tartar and the taleggio pizza.
This is the most upscale restaurant we visited while in Vancouver. The food was superb... salmon with truffle potatoes, lava cake for dessert. Well worth the $$$$. The restaurant vibe was kind of an old crowd & quite empty. But then again, maybe b/c it was Wednesday... I liked it regardless.
