The Tonkatsu at this restaurant was absolutely flawless. It had a crunchy, thick, and juicy texture, with just the right balance of fat and meat. The tonkatsu sauce really complemented the dish well. It's rare to find a dish that brings such pure happiness and nostalgic feelings because it's just so delicious, but this one did it for me. The karaage was also perfectly crunchy and juicy. What Joy W doesn't like about Manpuku Japanese Bento:
The salmon was frozen and dry, the edamame was unsalted, the tempura was soggy, and the salad was unseasoned. The dish did not resemble the photo at all and I was very disappointed. View all feedback.

Everything tasted so home made and balanced. Even the sauces and pickled ingredients were out of the world! Not to mention the cook and flavours of the chicken and salmon. Just perfection!
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and found everything to be overly salty. While I understand that Salted Salmon is meant to be salty, it was nearly inedible. The curry rice was also salty and had a strange texture and a plastic-like flavor. Despite being popular, this restaurant just isn't to my taste.
Best !!! Delicious !!!
