We took some friends to Little Saigon, our second visit. The food was a good as the first time. Lots of people there,, 85% full. The locals sure know about this place. A great place for a casual meal that is truly "Saigon". This time, we had the chicken wings. Very well done, with just a slight taste of tartness - excellent. The Chicken and rice dinner was wonderful, as was the beef brisket Pho. Going to head back fo... View all feedback.
What Jane Veerasenan doesn't like about Little Saigon:
Was meeting a friend in the area and didn't have any specific restaurants in mind to try. So, she recommended we check out Little Saigon. Their menu offers a diverse selection of Vietnamese cuisine. View all feedback.
Cute spot, simple menu, tasty food and cheap draft called for my attention.

The restaurant is not huge but it has personality! This incredible mural is painted along the back wall separating the diners from the kitchen.

The restaurant is not huge but it has personality! This incredible mural is painted along the back wall separating the diners from the kitchen. The decor is simple but classy with a touch of foodie fun. Their Happy Hour deal is quite incredible. You get three items off their eight-item menu for just $12. What a fantastic deal.I got their Prawn & Pork Salad Roll with their peanut sauce. I LOVE that peanut sauce. OMG, delicious!!! Everything was so fresh and clean, no MSG…If this is the mini Pho, I can not imagine how big the regular Pho must be! I added the garnishes, lime juice and then tasted a spoonful and knew there was something missing. Usually when I order Pho, it is take out and there are all these little sauces you add. I asked my server what I was missing. A NEW sauce! They have a SPICY hoisin for the Pho. Oh yeah… Much better! I did not find it super spicy, just incredibly flavourful and exactly what the Pho needed.I ordered the pork spring rolls but many of these appetizers had vegetarian options. These are available in veggie and tofu. Dipped in their dip-able fish sauce (which still blows my mind that they created such a genius foodie product) it made these crunchy treats a little funky in the best of ways.
