I ordered from Ubereats and I didn’t know what to expect but the chicken was so good. I have tried a lot of different Korean fried chicken places before but their boneless fried chicken with the rice cakes and potatoes was such a nice surprise! It arrived still so crisp and crunchy with the chicken still nice and tender. I definitely will order again and I want to go in person as well. View all feedback.
We?ve been to this restaurant several times over the last year. I like that they?re always very accommodating in seating us everytime we walk in without reservations. The service was always good and I liked how the waitresses always came around to check on us to make sure that we have enough water and if we wanted more side dishes the side dishes are free and complimentary and you can ask for more . The portion of the food here is quite big. But the last time we were there on december 18 the service was very lacking no one was coming to check on us and we literally had to raise our hands to get the waitresses attention to get more water even then they still didn?t see or hear us and they just kept walking around. Mind you when we got there the place was not very busy at all only towards the end the place got bussier even then it was still not full house and there were so many people on staff. We also had to flag down a waitress to get the bill and waited a long time to get our check.
Staff very nice and quick! Place is not the fancy furniture but you?re there for the fried chicken, hearty portions and overall guilty pleasure KFC the food definitely does the price justice and then some. Very good portion , quite filling. The side dishes were very flavourful as well. Especially the marinated potatoes
Best Korean fried chicken in the city! I went to Kosoo restaurant on Robson street in August 2020 with my cousins and a few friends. My cousin's sister loves Korean food and culture, so she picked this place. I have to tell you she picked the best place for Korean fried chicken. The restaurant was spotless, and the service was excellent. The food was better than we expected. Potions are a good size too. Today I ordered from Uber eats, and the food is beyond excellent. I would love to recommend Kosoo restaurant for you to try highly. You won?t be disappointed.
Located on 2nd floor, nice large dining area, arrived at 2030 on a Saturday night, place completely full, waited 15 mins for a table to open up. Selected the half order of the original Korean boneless fried chicken and the Ox bone soup. The chicken was heavily breaded, meat moist and tender, completely drenched in flavorful sauce, in fact, enough sauce to satisfy a whole village. Ox bone soup came with a very hot bowl of rice in its own wooden serving holder. Very flavorful and comforting when rice added to soup. They give you a thermos filled with hot water, after scooping out the rice, you're left with the crusty rice stuck to the bottom/sides of rice bowl, add the hot water for a delicious burnt crusty rice soup to accompanied your meal. Service a little slow but staff very friendly and accommodating. Open until 2330, great place to hang out, young crowd vibe
This chicken was amazing. The food was VERY good. The chicken was NOT dry. It was soft, moist, and very juicy. They did an excellent job cooking that chicken and made me jealous as I want their recipe! I think my biggest criticism is the price. Average prices are divided in 2 sections. Now I had never been to a Korean restaurant before, so I am going to GUESS what the 2 sections were. There was one section where the average price was around $17. I am guessing this is the appetizers section. The main course section averaged out to around $37 per plate. So not on the cheaper side, but then the food is well worth the cost even OF I wish it could be cheaper ????
