Kadoya started a new menu recently and I really like it. They added so many great special rolls and lunch boxes. They offer lunch boxes until 5pm and you can get tempura, teriyaki, gyoza, california roll, and salad in the cheapest box for under $10! Also love the new Tuna Tataki Roll. I think this will be my go to restaurant on Davie Street. View all feedback.

Been coming here on a regular bases for many years. Always ordered same thing. Spicy tuna sashimi and combo roll G. Went for dinner Friday and to my dismay discovered that menu has changed. And not for the better. In my opinion the spicy crunchy tuna and salmon rolls were the best in the city. The awards on the wall support my claim. As a week ago Kadoya restaurant has new menu, looks really good.We have been going there since our daughter moved dowtown years ago.Food is always good and with new menu even better.Tuna and salmon sashimi are very good,chirashi don has good fish selection and rolls were great too.Staff is very nice and they remember us, if somebody is missing from our party they ask
I came here for lunch on a Saturday just after 12pm. Only three tables were occupied but more people arrived shortly after us. The restaurant is very small and kind of greasy looking. I had the Sakura roll, which is a special roll with spicy tuna and scallop. It was good, spicy, and satisfying and came out pretty quickly. Portion size was good. The special rolls are all an average price $(8 - $13) for Vancouver sushi restaurants. Service was normal for an average sushi place - the girl was not friendly but all business. Nothing special, but good enough for a quick lunch.
We have been here a few times since moving to Vancouver and always leave feeling full and happy. Although the sushi isn't always rolled to perfection and the staff can be a little slow to take your order or bring your drink the food is above average and it's always packed! The prices at Kadoya are also quite reasonable.
