So the waffles rise and are more firm, but so fresh, so they're warm and pleasantly different than the typical Belgian waffles. The staff are really nice, they say they are getting milk shakes soon, I hope so!

Way too sweet.Some red flags: we don’t see waffle station in the kitchen making fresh waffles, constant microwave beep and door open/close, what we got does not look like the pictures hung on the wallWe ordered the BBQ pulled pork waffle and egg/ham waffle.BBQ pulled pork The bbq sauce was overly sweet and the waffle was soggy. I ate less than half and couldn’t finish it bc it was way too sweet. The oil and sauce just oozes out when you start to cut into it.Egg/ham waffle also very sweet bc they put syrup on the waffle under the ham.The egg looks and tastes like it was cooked via the microwave.$20 per waffle, not worth itThey probably changed owners bc someone in our group came once before and said it used to be good.

The food was great, they have a wonderful selection of liege waffles with eggs Benedict on top, creative flavours (and a vegetarian option! , and much more that I’ll be back to try!Cathy and Calvin are the sweetest people, too. I have some dietary restrictions that limits me from eating in restaurants, but they told me how they’ve curated their recipes and I was so impressed at the attention they put on good quality, healthy ingredients. Everything was so delicious and fresh!I came in to eat alone, but it felt just like eating at my auntie and uncle’s place. The food, service, and atmosphere felt very homely. But don’t be fooled, their waffles are better than some of the more expensive brunch places can offer. Definitely come dine with Cathy and Calvin! Love these guys
