After years living in Kits and passing by Juliet's Cafe, we ventured inside. It was cozy and nostalgic, like someone's house from the 00s in a good way. The food tasted homemade, healthy and with good ingredients. There is a fireplace that is delightfully warm on a rainy day, and newspapers for reading material.

Food is so-so. But the main issue is with the guy working as cashier. He was REALLY rude to one of us due to a mistake while ordering. My friend ordered a tea with oat milk and she had trouble expressing it properly (her English...is not the strongest). The cashier understood she wanted a tea and an oat meal. We got the oat meal at the table, said we hadn't ordered it and went back to the cashier to ask for a refund. She got her money back, but not without listening that she couldn't go around businesses ordering things like that The cashier guy said: If you don't understand something, you ask for help before ordering. I asked you 5 times if you wanted an oat meal and you said yes all 5 times Dude, we are CUSTOMERS. How about assisting your customers when you notice they're having trouble to undesrtand what you say? Besides, you run a business in VANCOUVER. A town flooded with tourists from all over the world who happen not to be native English speakers. As a business runner, I would say you lack a bit of vision when it comes to the big picture. No wonder the place was empty but still it took us 20 minutes just to order. Just FYI: it's not the customers who ruin a business, it's the lack of them.

Juliet’s Cafe (JC) is just the ticket for a place to grab a bite to eat, especially if one wants to do some catch up writing, be it of emails, or more contemplative writing. JC, conveniently located before the Burrard Bridge in Kits on Cornwall,...offers a good range of freshly-made sandwiches, on freshly baked, in-house bread, as well as other baked goods, like muffins, and a good selection of breakfast dishes. Many come in to JC’s to do the some screen work, as it is roomy and fairly quiet, and has a few plugs around, which one can access to recharge cells etc. Groups also come in to meet, as it has largish tables to gather around. The husband and wife owners are accommodating and friendly. I have settled into the regular choice of a tuna mayo sandwich, which, while not that substantial, is tasty and fresh. It costs 10:50$. Sometimes I add a blueberry muffin at 4$ — often, too, a beer and sometimes a latte. One pays and orders at the counter. JC is also conveniently open — daily from 8 am to 3 pm. Posted by S Fuller

That's what I'm eating. but the main problem is that the guy works as a cashier. he was really rude to one of us because of a mistake in ordering. my friend ordered a tea with milk and she had difficulty expressing it correctly (here English. is not the strongest.) the cash register understood that she wanted a tee and a herd meal. we have the raw meal at the table, said we had not ordered it and went back to the cashier to ask for a refund. she got her money back, but not without listening that she couldn't go around for business to order the cash said: if she don't understand anything, ask for help before the order. I asked her five times if they wanted a diarrhea meal, and they all said five times old, we're customers. How would it be to support their customers if they notice that they have difficulties and what they say? they also run a business in vancouver. a city flooded with tourists from all over the world who do not speak native English. as a business runner, I would say that she lacks a little vision when it comes to the big picture. no wonder the place was empty, but it took us 20 minutes to order. only fyi: they are not the customers who ruin a business, it is lacking of them.
