Loved the ambiance, service and every dish we tasted. Very limited menu. Amazing boards! Only downside was that they ran out of “frites” for steak frites. Since the menu was limited, how do you run out of frites??? Especially when it’s a traditional French dish and this is half of it! Would have loved a small compensation as a result….. What soulfruit doesn't like about Jules A Vin:
Staff could be more attentive. Virtually no interaction from service staff. Food was on the right track but I think lost its spark some time ago. I hope they can polish things up a little. Good location, heard good things from the past. I understand why now. View all feedback.
I love Jules Bistro as its owner is French and delivers authentique French cuisine . The French oignon soup and the Lobster Bisque are simply delicious! For a first visit, I recommend la Table D'Hôte. Currently on Sundays, a bottle of wine is 50% off! Like me, after your first visit you will highly recommend Jules Bistro. Bon appetit!
One of our finest dining experiences in Vancouver. The food, service and ambiance were exemplary!
A pleasant surprise on our adventure through Vancouver. There are no French restaurants in our hometown, so we were excited to try something new. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The duck confit was so flavorful and tender, and my husband said the French Onion Soup was incredibly comforting. Highly recommend!
For a lovely reminder of a Paris Bistro in Vancouver, Jules does the trick. The Smoked Salmon Carpaccio, the Steak Frites were terrific, as was everything else. Come early, before 5, for the Happy Hour, and you will definitely enjoy great value.
Authentic French cuisine with a comfortable ambience.
