Jugo Juice - Vancouver

I ordered the Good Shot, expecting it to be similar to the ginger shot I always get from Freshii. However, when I received my order, it looked nothing like the advertised image. The taste was terrible, as it seemed to be made entirely of turmeric. I could even feel the overpowering taste of turmeric as I tried to drink it. I couldn't finish it and ended up throwing it away, not wanting to complain due to the busy atmosphere. I wish I had taken a picture of it – it was like drinking water filled with turmeric!

I experienced gastrointestinal distress after consuming the vegetable juice as the server mixed in some expired orange juice to top off the glass. When I raised my concerns about feeling unwell from the juice, the server was disrespectful in their response.

Review of this restaurant: 1. They have a good selection of dishes. 2. The items on the menu are authentic and true to their origins. 3. The staff is efficient and friendly. 4. It is a busy stall with only one person handling both billing and food preparation, so be prepared for a wait. 5. The seating area is small. 6. The staff is pleasant and helpful. 7. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Nice and convenient location, good tasting smoothies and sandwiches, but i got today a triple cheese grilled one and it was over toasted (i.e burnt inedible). Waste of money! I will take a break for a while from the place to forget the bad experience Ihad today. Miss the old beef sandwich.

The staff was eating her lunch (finger food) when I approached the kiosk. She raised her finger to indicate just a sec, took another bite, then rinsed her hands (no soap) to come to the till. I was hoping she'd actually wash her hands after the till,but nope just continued to make the juice like that without gloves. At least the straw is wrapped and she didn't seem to touchthe ingredients directly, but especially during COVID this irks me.
