To be sure, we were there around in the afternoon which is not exactly rush hour. The manager who served us was pleasant enough but more importantly he got our order right including some special requests. The food was served fresh and it came...quickly. Of course, we were the only ones there. The food was delicious. I was a bit surprised. The bill was very reasonable. All in all, we had a good experience. View all feedback.
What Adonis Mitchell doesn't like about Iron Wok Chinese Cuisine:
Once was more than enough! Ordered take-out lunch combo for about and it was a box of never again . Choice of white rice or chow mein noodles, I chose the chow mein, along with sweet sour pork and something chicken. Whatever it all...was, it most mostly a big pile of mediocre chow mein. The two main items were similar to what is available in the deli section at Safeway. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same stuf... View all feedback.
Indo-Filipino butter chicken rice. all the time I passed from muffin break, I thought, I see enough muffins in the work that was set up with coffee for the psycho patients, and I'm tired of brushing muffin balls from which the patients throw them against each other, so I never stopped. but I ride around kits when the folk festival was up, and stumbled my eyes on the hippies of all age groups that came out of the patchouli valleys for them. that is when I noticed that muffin break sells samosas, wraps with Indian fillings and other non-muffin stuffs. I give muffin break a like' for the production of my own feeds. they try. it is not bought-from-sysco or contrasted by an external bakery. they could make the things better, but they didn't do it wrong. the packaging was well built, folded into a roti that held its shape when I ate it on a parking bench with a view of the English bay. the inside butter chicken had mild taste, was not too wet, especially because it was about rice. I think there are some cheerful filipina women who lead the place. they can probably imagine how Phillipine-spiced butter huh compares with skorchy punjabi style. my berry was made with a decent amount of frozen mixed berries, but there were more water, less yogurt in it than most other smoothes I had. I liked the look of the samosas, fruit crumbs and other homemade bakeries the beautiful damens displayed. muffin break is like a homey, less mischievous version of goldilocks and there were also muffins. I tried not to look at them. because what I would see was a collection of crazy human crumbs in production.
We ordered Rice noodles which were obviously freshly cooked and good, and two meat dishes, General Tso's Chicken and Chili beef, both of which were tough and tasted like they had been pre-cooked, maybe the night before, and not even thoroughly reheated. There are many other good Chinese restaurants to choose from. I would avoid ordering delivery from this place.

I didn't go in, but ordered food to be delivered. I was told delivery time was 30 minutes. After waiting for 1 hour, naturally I called to enquire. The guy that picked up was such a nasty man...I asked about my food and he said the driver was going to be another 20-30mins. All I said was I would have appreciated a phone call to let me know the delivery times had changed and he just went crazy. "That is not what I do" he said, "do you want the food" he said, to which I answered "of course I want to food, but a phone call would have been nice. Then after a lot of "I'll cancel the order", he hung up the phone. My husband then called and the lady that picked up pretended she doesn't speak proper English. Again, buy your food from somewhere else..... The services is unbelievably disgusting.
Wow...It felt like i just got off the phone and I hear a little tap tap on the door.. it was that fast! I ordered steamed rice, ginger beef, lemon chicken, and mixed vegetables with crispy noodles. EVERY dish was absolutely delicious! The ginger beef was a little on the sweet side for me.. so i added some red pepper flakes to it.. and MMMMm! the cost was 42.00 but we got two complete meals out of it... really enjoyable and definitely will order again. Very surprising for this little place that they could pump out such good fresh dishes and at lightening speed!
