India Bistro - Vancouver

We took an Indian friend here. Food was acceptable but the entire experience felt a little touristy and staged. I wouldn't go back. There are probably other better options for Indian cuisine.

Located a short stroll from my Davie Street hotel, this economical, friendly and delicious Indian restaurant was a real find. All the classics of Indian cuisine are here, prepared lovingly by the charming staff. Everything was fresh, fresh, fresh, and yummy.

We found this restaurant to be very pleasant. Located in the west end within easy walking distance of our condo. The food and service were good. It was reasonably priced and I would recommend it to my friends.

One of the best Indian Restaurant that we've gone to. The food was delicious that we didn't know when to stop eating. We ordered the Eggplant Bharta, Chicken Tandoori, Lamb Rogan Josh, Onion Kulcha and Basmati Rice. They give you a lot of food too, but they were so delicious that we ate it all. Their wine selections are pretty good too. Enjoy!

Before the Covid , this restaurant offer the best cheap Buffet lunch in the neighbourhood , I heard it though the gapevine , they change new management in 2020 , dropped in for quiet lunch , only few patron , so quiet atmosphere , price reasonable , menu not too over size , I order the Curry Lamb shahi korma with large portion Pulao rice , I am planning eat half here and half for dinner to night , curry very flavourful , not much of meat in the dish ,, but well balance of ingredients and spicy , service very slow , staff (Owner not friendly at all , I am happy I got my curry lamb , for sure I would not be back , there is so many restaurants in the area .
