Holts Cafe - Vancouver

1st: this is a fancy cafeteria in Holt Renfrew._2nd: directions are non existent- ( it's on the 2nd floor, back in the corner by Louis Vuitton salon)_3rd:

Terrible placeWent in there to grab a quick lunch but sat for half an hr and got to serviceNo one came over to ask us if we wanted water.

Very delicious scones and not bad coffeeI work above it and so for me to grab anything from here, I would get a discountService not bad.

I wrote a review on Saturday about a horrible dining experience at another local Vancouver restaurant and thought I needed to balance that review with one of Vancouver's gem of place for having an excellent meal, every single time! Holt Cafe is simply amazing ... I've been here 3 times now and each time, I promise to come back to try something else on the menu. I have been pleasantly surprised and so satisfied each time. Not only is the food excellent, the service is impeccable. I would recommend this place, hands down.

My wife and I had a lovely Sunday morning brunch in a gorgeous space. Not only was the maple bacon and chocolate & orange tart really delicious, the service was top notch. Everyone from the greeter Celine to our server Karen made it a very pleasant and memorable experience. Kudos to the Holts Cafe team for creating an inviting and relaxed atmosphere with truly outstanding cuisine. I understand that the current staff replaced the original team that opened the restaurant in August 2016 (and was responsible for a disastrous first few months and many of the negative reviews here) so all the original problems have been fixed, thankfully, so we didn't have to experience any of that.
